Our restaurant in the historic wine cellar
You can feel the historic atmosphere in the over 300 year old cellar vault. However, don´t envision our restaurant dark and dull. The opposite is the case. The elegant atmosphere with lots of style (white linen, bright-red chargers and fancy silverware and glasses) combined with our chef´s artistic kitchen allows us to pamper both, your eyes and pallet.
The restaurant is small and intimate offering only 35 - 40 seats. Therefore, please make
reservations
whenever you can. We don´t want to keep you from taking chances, however, we would be equally disappointed if we could not offer a table.
Dress code:
We do not have a dress code. Jeans or suit are equally ok. The most important is for you to feel comfortable. |
Our garden/terrace restaurant
During the warm and sunny season we will seat you automatically on the terrasse right on the original cobblestone ground under the huge old lime tree with a direct view to the most beautiful house in Burkheim. Our tasteful teak wood seating further add to the experience.
Starting from 11:30 am, we offer our guests the menu of the day. This menu entails mainly seasonal dishes, many of them original to the area and adresses the quick and lighter hunger during the day. You will find soups, salads, the locally so famous Flammkuchen and many other dishes . In addition, we serve the entire range of coffee and espresso drinks as well as cake and ice variations.
For the bigger hunger in the evening (6 to 10pm) our guests can also choose from our entire dinner menu (incl. steaks and surprise menus).
Our terrace has a capacity of appr. 60 seats. During the season it fills up very quickly. There are evenings when we have to turn away up to 40 people. Therefore, please make
reservations
whenever you can. We don´t want to keep you from taking chances, however, we would like you to enjoy your dinner right in the midst of the historic center of Burkheim.
