Options for our guests
Menu of the day
Starting from 11:30 am, our guests can choose from the menu of the day. This menu entails mainly seasonal dishes, many of them original to the area and adresses the quick and lighter hunger of our guests during the day. You will find soups, salads, the locally so famous Flammkuchen and many other dishes .
Dinner menu
Starting from 6:30 pm, our guest can also choose from the dinner menu entailing a
1. Small but fine a la carte menu
Here, guest can choose from a range of sophisticated, more upscale dishes including fish, game, lamb, beef and vegetarian (to name a few) compositions.
2. Steak menu
Our continual and exceptional steak menu is always an option. Made to point, any steak is great. But if you are offered steak variations you typically don´t find in Germany (e.g. blackened or surf and turf with scallops) makes things even better.
3. Surprise menu
Our hectic lifes require decisions and follow schedules all the time. Why not take the opposite approach for a great dinner. Take no decision and take your time for a 3-, 6- or 8-course surprise menu. We will just ask you what you like and dislike. Once we have informed our chef, the kitchen will keep surprising you - one course at a time.
For our vegetarian and younger guests
Our menu includes a few vegetarian dishes. Often, our chef creates individual vegetarian dishes once we understand our guests likes and dislikes. However, choices increase with advance notice. Please, do not hesitate to let us know with your reservation.
Please note:
We are devoted to tasty and healthy food. Therefore, we refrain from freezers, deep fryers or microwaves. French fries will never be part of our menu. However, we have always managed to make our younger guests happy.
Talking about younger guests - we are a kid-friendly house. Please do not hesitate to bring your kids along. Should you decide to leave your kids home and have someone watche them, please be aware that we do not have handy reception at our wine cellar restaurant (terrace is ok though). So please provide your babysitte with our number: 07662-949920.
